I'm getting that ansty only 2 days left feeling!

Yep two days left before I pick up my new lower receiver for my upcoming AR-15 build and my new (well to me) Moison!

I really hate that waiting period. It's okay for the first half then the count down begins and I start wanting the days to pass by quicker!

Now on the other hand I'm not looking forward to getting the Moison ready. Hopefully we will have some warm days again here soon in the Sac Area and I can just wrap up the stock in some paper towels and put it in a black garbage bag out on my deck and get all that goop out of the stock! The good thing is I will be getting one heck of a moisturizing job for my arms and hands!

Whats the configuration going to be? Is it stripped or complete? Ive got all my lowers just about done, its buying the uppers thats the hard part for me. lol

Let us know what Mosin you got! Tula or Ishvezk factory that built it; what year it is; if it has a "hex" or round receiver; what it looks like. I love to hear about new Mosins.

Good luck with your AR also. I do think .223 is a fun caliber to shoot!

Lower is a stripped Aeropercision. Now starts the purchasing of the lower parts after I get some funding I'm expecting by the end of the week. I've changed my mind so many times on what I want and don't want, but pretty much decided I want it to be simple! Will keep updated

OK I was a little rushed when I purchased it. I think its a 1942 model, I picked it out of the group because its stock was much lighter and looked to be in great shape all around. Will get some pictures out tomorrow night or the next day

LOL yeah I checked the bore.... On 6 Mosins! Now I can't remember what the heck I picked because they all ran together. Went mostly on the one in the best condition of the lot of 6 I looked at. But pretty sure it was the 1942 round receiver one. Will update more tomorrow after I pick it up
