Ear Muffs for a small child

I need to find earring protection for a small child, can you you make any suggestions?

I would say start with a pair of really good ear plugs and then go from there
If needed add a pair of muffs

It kind of depends on how big of a gun you plan to use around them. When my Dad started me on the Merlin 22LR bolt action back in the day, ear plugs were more then enough. If your talking 12 gauge or some other real gun, you'll probably want to buy kid sized ear muffs.
