Pictures from Cherry Creek this past weekend

Went to the Ventura gun show this past weekend and got a new bi-pod, grip and optic for the AR-15. So of course I had to go test them out right afterwards! It took me and the fiancee a while to zero the sight, just because we are new to optics. But we finally got it. I also shot my new Ruger SR9c, I am finally getting more used to it, I was having troubles with the slide because it was so stiff. It is finally loosening up a little. Here are a few pics. They aren't the best because they were taken with a cell phone camera.

What kind of optic is that? FACOG? Are there rails on it?

It's an Aim Sport. Yes, there are rails on it. Since I am new to optics, I am not ready to spend $1,000 on a ACOG right now lol. Later down the road I defintiely will though.

Just looked online to see what a FACOG was.....thought it was some type of ACOG, but then realized it is a Fake ACOG....so I guess, this kinda is like a FACOG LOL.

Now, if I go back to your spot, will all that brass be gone? lol, great pictures, looks like fun. My weekend was a bust, did nothing except increase my post count on calguns. I need to get a real life, lol.

Your toys would look especially nice displayed at a Calguns Booth

Is this the Cherry Creek in Tuolumne County? Because I was there this weekend too, squirrel hunting with my son. We stomp all over that country all through bear season.

Have you ever done one of those group hunts with the NRA?
