Hey Guys
I thought you Women might enjoy this news.
I have shot with Noma Mayo before, and she is awesome.
Sherri Gallager has been breaking records for the last couple years.
Her Mom Nancy who set many records said she is proud her daughter is the one breaking her records.
The article dosen't explain what a Palma Match is, so I will give some info.
Palma COF:
1st string; 800 yards, 15 shots for record with unlimited sighters in a time limit of 20 min
2nd string; 900 yards, 15 shots for record with two sighters in a time limit of 17 min
3rd string; 1000 yards, 15 shots for record with two sighters in a time limit of 17 min
Match requires the rifle be chambered in .308 Win with the bullet not exceeding 156 grains.
Must be shot with iron sights
Team matches are a little different, but basically the same as above.

Sorry, I ment to say her sister Sherri Gallagher will be best of the best, breaking all of D. T's records.

If someone says "you shoot like a girl" that is a great complement.

Last year at the California State Long-Range Championships, Noma Mayo cleaned up.
She won the Long-Range Championship using her Palma rifle against rifles chambered in cartridges that have far superior wind bucking performance.
She won the highest Palma rifle score.
She won the highest woman category.
She and her husband won the team match.
I think she won high senior also, but not sure.

I shoot like a girl in pistol, but I can still admire rifle shooters of that caliber. I tend to cast like a girl too, but the bass don't seem to care much - lol

The last I heard, my local gun club was trying to get it's own team together to enter one of the future Palma matches. That would be interesting.
