    OP, depending on your daughter's anatomy & physique, I usually wear Columbia shorts with belt loops for competition, regardless of what temperature it is. I'll throw a pair of jogging pants over them if it's too cold to keep gear consistent.

      Any range/duty belt will do. You won't even need pants to use one. <g>
