My lady straight up won a Swiss Rifle Match last weekend

Well......... she tied, but I told her, she also didn't get 2nd.

Essentially, Swiss citizens have to qualify with a rifle yearly regardless of where they are in the world. So there are clubs around the world that put on sanctioned matches for such qualifications. They let non citizens participate in said matches (where we come in).

So she won one of those, and did so with a borrowed club rifle, using factory 174gn 7.5x55 which is more stout than a hefty 308. Key takeaway here, she's hardly 5ft3in.

I know my limits, I'll only go up against her at a pistol match

    ********
So basically, these matches require a Swiss military issued type rifle. California being California basically limits that ownership to the K31 and 1911 rifle (no using the modern Swiss arms). The club owns a good number of these.

She was having trouble at previous matches getting "in the zone" with a borrowed rifle and factory ammo.

I told her, you know, these K31's aren't that much, and with our own rifle I could reload and soften the power on them nearly down to nothing since it's a bolt action rifle, and we could zero it to the softer load.

Looks like it's not going to be worth the bother, and we can save the safe space.
Before there was Polymer there was Accuracy.
