    I HATE getting stood up!

Responded to a For Sale Ad. Had postitive exchange via PMs.
Seller said they'd be in San Jose today. Today has come and gone...Not one word. Nada.

I should have known it'd be a weird one when he posted a second had with a higher price for the EXACT SAME GUN!!!

    Grrrrr

That sucks. I got stood up with one of my transaction too. I should have left a negative feedback for that guy. Sorry to hear that. The person is a jerk.

I had a trade going with another CalGunner via PMs. He even set a date on when we can do a PPT and I agreed to it. A few days later I see a post of his gun back up for sale. I pm'd him to ask if we were still on for the PPT. I never received one word back from him. He could of just manned up and told me that he has now decided to sell it instead of doing a trade. I would of respected that of him. So to the OP, I feel your pain. I really hate flakers.

what a loser that person is... i always fear the same thing happening to me whenever i have an uncoming FTF transactions. i guess that's why i never go further than just outside city limits to handle a deal and always get a phone number exchange. if i cant reach them as the meeting time approaches, i don't go... sorry for your wasted time and effort. spill the beans and say who it is...

The deal is done when some one says they will take it.

                              Yeah Mike-
What kind of a loon starts two separate threads for the same gun? I feel like a bigger dumbie for posting on the second one.

                              Thanks for the advice Paul-
but for me someone's word is worth more than me keeping tabs on them. I'm not here to be someone's mommy. I've had succesful deals in this and other forums on little more than an isntant message.

                              Jerry-
that's exactly how it should be. Or better yet, when the seller says "it's yours."
