this is being discussed in another calguns forum. i'm pretty sure most of us had seen the news report already.
having watched the video there are things to be considered: the importance of not only range time and situational practice AND no one no matter one's gender knows how one will react when in a situation such as this.
watching the video the women are lucky that they didn't shoot one another and certainly shouldn't have put down the pistol assuming the bad guy was really going away.
glad they survived and if nothing else perhaps bad guys will not assume that women are easy targets.
male or female we can all learn from this.
