Not sure where else to post this so I apologize if this is in the wrong spot. My wife likes to shoot when she can make time and I'm getting my Daughter into shooting as well. I"ve taught them basic firearm safety and operation but my wife needs a FSC if she wants to buy a firearm in the future, and it wouldn't hurt to have my daughter go through one as well.
My daughter is 9.So I know they have women safety classes out there but do they have some that are geared for younger audiences as well? Mother/Daughter classes?
I'm confident in my teaching but due to my military background I do tend to come across as very stern when I'm instructing, and even though they are my daughters I get the impression that she feels like I'm being overbearing, I don't raise my voice or anything, and I've tried to use softer tones but firearm safety is priority #1 with me and I want to make sure she knows the importance of such things.
