This was a dud post (no response, but lots of views) in the general firearm subforum, so thought I'd cross post it here, hope it's ok.
This past weekend I visited Virtual Safe Shot in Sacramento. It's a military grade simulator with thousands of scenarios, supposedly the best in our area, better than the SCSO, and other gun clubs.
It was my first time actually applying range-based classes to potentially real life situations. They have thousands of scenarios and can change the outcome as needed. I loved the immediate feedback via the program on the screen - exactly where my muzzle was pointing, # of shots fired vs lethal hits, vs missed or even hitting an innocent bystander (which I did not do). I cant wait to return.
If you are in the area, I highly recommend checking it out, or it not, find something similar in your local.
(you can see what it looks like here, pictures, and videos)
