First, I'm so excited that an active Ladies Forum exists! I have already learned much from reading everyone's posts. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Earlier this year I started a company, Mira Official, Inc. (www.miraofficial.net), especially for women shooters because I was tired of spending money on courses, being the only woman on course and after a full day of instruction, leaving with questions. Bottom line, men and women learn differently. So, I collaborated with psychologists, law enforcement and military personnel to develop a series of courses with syllabi specifically for women. The delivery of the syllabus is important - so the instructors are accomplished professionals who can communicate with women. I actually enjoy taking classes with men. i like the competition. But I've never felt intimidated, and it's a fantastic community. I think I've been fortunate that most of the classes I've taken have been small so more individualized attention. And of course, there is a huge variation of instructor experience & ability to teach. It sometimes takes time to find someone you connect with, and can learn from.
