Orange county lady to teach my lady ?

QUESTION : Is there any highly experienced lady shooter who wants to meet a classy super sweet conservative lady who herself wants to learn how to shoot.

She is my 40 year old family member living in Orange county and she REALLY wants to learn how to shoot and get her handgun safety card and buy a pistol.

I am in Oregon and cannot break away to drive down and teach her.

Any help or suggestions would be nice

Maybe have her look into the range night they have at FT3 gun range in Stanton once in awhile.

Women on Target is another great option. There is 15 women in the class. Mostly taught by men, there are a few female instructors. Great class! Lot's of shooting and classroom training. Have her bring a friend.

There are a lot of good choices. My personal recommendation if she is new to shooting is to have her do her initial training with the women instructors at Artemis Defense Institute. They have women trainers on staff who are excellent, a number groups including the Well Armed Woman and A Girl and A Gun Shooting League have used the facility. Besides great trainers it's a safe effective learning environment located in Lake Forest. She will start with Glock 22's modified to shoot a laser, with full blow back on a digital range. This facility is mostly used by law enforcement, but the women's group is great. See Sandy Lieberman.

On-Target in Mission Viejo has a Wednesday morning and Thursday evening women's group - See Randi or Dana

As already mentioned FT3 in Stanton has a great program. Lousy neighborhood, but great range, instructors, and women's shooting group.

My personal recommendation is to start at Artemis, and then link up with a active women's group at one of the ranges.
