depressing and frustrating: for me it is the ammo law that will effect me. I have a stockpile but as we all know there is no such thing as too many shoes or too much ammo!

Not much to say at the moment. Still trying to understand all of the implications, waiting for the legislative session to end.

I really don't understand how a lawful citizen could get into more trouble for failing to register their "assault weapon" than the criminal who steals it.

The fact that you all haven't "reacted" as much to the news from last week, is probably a testament to a cool, calm, measured demeanor. Exactly what many of us here are often lacking.

I receive updates and call to action emails in my Inbox on an almost daily basis from the likes of CRPA (CA Rifle and Pistol) etc.

I wring my hands in private, but at the same time I make phone calls to Sacramento when asked by the different watchdog groups. I was told by one of the political aides (in response to the normal question: What city or zip code are you calling from?) that they do not tally any calls unless the constituent / caller resides in the proper area represented by the rep. She said they smile and thank you for calling, but that's all.

Just wait until November when Newsom's Safety for All proposition comes out. I mean, who's not onboard with safety for all? Grrrr....

The NRA was the worst they did nothing to stop it and their arguments agents were pitiful. Firearms policy coilition and hunters association did stand up for us but the NRA dropped the ball and for that i will never give the NRA a penny!
