Training for Women

My wife would like to learn more and shoot better with her new pistol. Is there a woman's focused training facility in Ventura county? We all know how men can be teaching new skills.

Depends on her skill level. NRA's Women on Target is for beginners. Instructors are usually a mix of male/female, but is limited to female students only, and is geared toward the woman shooter.

I don't know of any more advanced classes that are geared toward women. Someone else may be able to help with that.

Look for a Well Armed Woman Instructor. They are NRA certified. Trained to teach women. I would love to teach her! However, I live in Hermosa Beach, CA. How far is that from you?

Thank you for all the suggestions...I would say that she is not a beginner as she does go to the range and grew up with guns and rifles. She wants to expand her skill level and development. Hermosa is a drive but worth looking into.
