New type of concealment for us!

I'm doing all sorts of reading and research these days, and came across this particular item:

Basically it's a clingy foundation/undergarment. (In the olden days we would call it a slip.) But it's made of a nice stretchy spandex with a holster pocket on both sides just above the hip. The intention is a Crossdraw left or right, and the other pocket can be used for a mag.

If you are not carrying, clingy foundation/undergarment. (In the olden days we would call it a slip.) But it's made of a nice stretchy spandex with a holster pocket on both sides just above the hip. The intention is a Crossdraw left or right, and the other pocket can be used for a mag.

If you aren't carrying the pocket can be used for a slim wallet and/cell phone for a hands free evening.

I am probably just a little bit too big a woman for this particular garment, but I really like it. It might even inspire me to lose weight!

Conceptually it's just a flashier version of a compression shirt, with the compression of a foundation garment. Very much the same style as the 5.11 Tactical shirt.

Takes a well known garment adds a holster. Useful but you still have to ask can you access the weapon during the avg 4 seconds your likely to have, between exiting denial and engaging the fight.

Clearly has value in certain instances, but if it were to be your primary method of carry your going to need, want at least 3 or more so you have the ability to launder, so a somewhat expensive option.

It also brings up the question all cross draw platforms from shoulder holsters, compression t-shirts, to this garment have, which is in a struggle are you ok with covering potential innocents. Reality says most will have a finger on the trigger before clearing on target no mater how much we practice not to.

The biggest issue here is familiar with the above mentioned systems that are covered by a blouse/shirt/dress options, which is getting to the gun. Either a wide neck or button front that your going to shred are pretty much required in a fight situation. Might be a little easier for a LEO who can draw before engagement if they are expecting one. Most people don't know they are going to be attacked until they are physically contacted.

This method falls into deep concealment, where concealment is more valuable than speed of access. Or there is just no other way to carry on body.

At the same time it is encouraging to see a growing interest by the fashion industry in providing garments tailored to concealed carry.
