Yes, MZ as you point out, center of gravity is a big one too. That is why it is natural for men to lean forward when shooting and for women to lean backwards or assume what I have deemed "Charlie's Angles Stance." It is hard to overcome evolution and for pistols I have my friends bend their knees (extremely slightly) and tip at the pelvis (slightly again) in order to get the shoulders forward stance without compromising their base.

Good to know about the bowling tie in - I will keep that tidbit filed away in my brain!

Shot the Syren auto again today, and yup - still loving it. Unfortunately they cannot accommodate a step rib at this time, nor did they have the tools onsite to drop the stock to its' lower position (demo gun was set to 0).

For comparisons sake I also shot the Benelli Sport II ($1899/wood) and the SuperSport ($2199/carbon fiber w/ recoil system), both 12g auto. The Sport II was nice but I did feel like I had to work harder to shoulder it properly. The SuperSport was a dismal failure for me (I went from 12 straight breaks on the wood stock to 1 of 6 with the carbon). The Rep was intrigued and we spent extra time with the carbon stock, but unfortunately I was unable to figure out what was driving the sudden performance change.

I forget which model Browning I tried, another 12g semi. It felt light but the recoil was fine. Since I can't recall the model info, it is fair to say that it did not impress me enough to be in my future.

At the CZ booth I tried the Wingshooter Elite O/U but in 20g. This was my 1st time with an O/U or a 20g. It shot well, recoil was fine, and the $1050 price tag is less steep than the others. However, I did not have the hand strength to open the action (new gun) and had to keep handing it to the Rep for assistance. If I were to buy one new I would have to consider this to be a 2 shot n out gun

H & K had a VP9 on their line and I can understand all the hype. It definitely had more heft to it than I expected (idk why), and as always I give kudos to the brand for trying to be more ambi-friendly than the rest. I am not certain if I would ever purchase one (if able), cause this girl likes her CZs way too much!

I purchased a Guerini Syren in October after a lot of thought and a little finger crossing. I shoot sporting clays at least twice a week and had a really hard time finding a gun that fit. My husband can pick up almost any stock shotgun and has very little problem. I am 130 lbs, 5'7" with a long torso and long neck. My LOP is fairly average. I also have dual dominance issue with my eyes like many women. My right eye is dominant but my left eye can easily take over if the gun fit isn't perfect. I shoot both eyes open but, can end up looking down the left side of the barrel if the fit isn't right.

I purchased the Guerini sporting with 30" barrel. Out of the case the gun fit me very well. Cast was right, grip was smaller so I wasn't reaching for the trigger. My left hand held the forearm instead of the receiver and the weight while not light was very balanced with a smooth swing. Even though the shotgun has a Monte carlo stock, I still had to have an adjustable comb cut into the stock. Like I said, long neck.

I did have to send the gun back to Guerini for a small issue in the beginning but, it came back working to perfection and I am in love with this shotgun. My coach noticed a definite change in my swing and gun fit and was pleased. My game has dramatically improved because of the fit.

If you are a woman and love shooting shotguns this is a must try. If anyone would like to try mine I am more than willing to let you have a go of it. There are not many out there right now for women to handle. Just shoot me a pm if you want to try it and are interested in purchasing one. I highly recommend this gun.

I also purchased an A400 RL parallel target for a semi auto option and as a backup. This shotgun is also a good fit for women with longer necks and needing a shorter LOP. This shotgun is less expensive and a great option also. Very soft shooter.

I don't expect everything handed to me. Just set it down anywhere. Unknown

Whatever the bodytype, everyone had smiles after their test drive (we were shooting 5 stand with a 1 oz, #8 12g load).
