    Bonnie-B Holster & Friends

For those who remember I ran a survey a few weeks ago on guns, which turned into a discussion on holsters. I have my first run of holsters with a little different flair. Each holster features a full barrel kydex shell, leather backing, covered in rubber and fleece for a soft comfortable fit, and can be worn IWB with the supplied clips, or OWB.

Inspired by our own Bonnie B is a holster featuring Teal Thread. This holster is for a S&W Shield

In the art of the possible I had two holsters made. The first fits a Colt Mustang Pocketlite and features a blue jean blue leather backing, and blue jean style white thread. This holster can be worn IWB using the supplied clips, or OWB on a belt.

I was intrigued enough with the blue jean concept to also commission the same style for a S&W J-frame revolver.

So good, bad, pretty, ugly, let me know what you think. Were going to be putting them on the shelf next week. They are certainly unique vs. what I have seen on the market, and I think at a retail of $52 reasonable.

Your comments and opinions are appreciated.

Wow! Not a lady but I had to click on the thread...and I am not disappointed!
I will take one for the J-frame if you are selling them.

They are all for sale. I only have the J-Frame in Blue Jean. I have a store in Mission Viejo, if your close you could bring your gun and try it on to see if you like it. If you want to order it, PM me, we do ship.

The key reason I posted is that my wife and I are listening. Were trying to produce products women will want to use. We are working to prototype a leather holster in Beige/nude to make it easier to conceal in light clothing. Were working with another vendor to see if we can get rainbow affordable anodized hardware. That is sort of Sig Specific.

A little more devilish than the Bonnie-B we have the same holster done with Red Thread. Although this holster is S&W Shield, it was inspired by the HK logo.

We could just as easily have done the leather in red, but that is hard to conceal.

I haven't been following the design specifics for this but I think it is cool that our very own BonnieB is the namesake!

question: the S&W J-frame holster, is that a design to be worn on a belt and with waistband hooks as well?

while I don't have a CCW, I do have a Model 60 snubby and it is legal for me to open carry on my property........

The J-Frame is worn inside the waist band using the metal clips. For outside the waist band wear, you would remove the clips and run a belt through the two vertical slots. It does want you to use a gun belt, typically a little wider than a fashion belt.

Do you like the blue with white tread?

thanks for the info....i'm not a belt wearing type of woman.

              blue w/white thread is ok.
not too particular accept I don't like pink!
blue w/orange thread would be better for me...why? jeans usually are stitched with an orange/copper colored thread, i think.

have you priced the holster yet?

              want to PM me?

Nice work on these holsters, they look like that they will make people very happy. The only aspect that I see that bothers me are the numerous random rough edges on the fleece (where it extends above the leather or intrudes into the belt cuts). That said, I have a super anal retentive eye for details that generally just serves as an annoyance to the majority of the population. Congrats on making your concept a reality!

Either inside or out side this would normally attach to a belt. Agree copper is usual, but two things influenced the white. A pair of Gloria Vanderbilt jeans I was looking at when I built the request, and the influence of the originator. I can certainly have one made with copper. We had 26 holster made with a range of colors. Tried to pick up the essence of the guns, 1911's, Sigs, Ruger, Smith & Wesson.

Price of the holster is $52.00. We give 10% off to Calguns members and through June were giving 15% of to A Girl & A Gun League members, as part of our sponsorship.

Turns out I have two J-Frame holsters, the other is black leather with teal thread.

i'd buy a S&W J-frame in black w/silver thread if you can have one made.
                      otherwise, copper thread would work.
my Model 60 stainless is a stainless snubby with black grips.
w/o felt roughs as noted by Off the Roster would also be appreciated.
                      possible?
                      if so, let's do business.

Super looking products! I'm so flattered!

I agree with MZ that the traditional jeans 'copper' thread would be very nice. Jeans come both ways, of course, but I like the copper, 'cause I'm old school. MZ too, I think.

Loved the teal thread on my namesake. I'm so glad someone hears us when we say that Barbie colored gun gear (not to use the P word...) is not the only color in the world. Nor is purple.

I sent a PM on how to make the photo's more accessible, I'd rather see them visible(once each) directly in the thread with a link to your site.

                        But, wow! Great job!

Bonnie, glad you liked them. If I order the blue jean again I'll try the copper thread. Have to see if these ones sell. I think the J-Frame will go quickly, I think the pocketlite will eventually, just because we have it in stock.

The Bonnie-B's should be an easy sell. First the guns I ordered it in are popular, a J-Frame, and a Shield. I like the look.

We put this holster in the store today for the first time and sold two, so that is good. If you have any other suggestions, let me know. Were trying to fill desires, rather that push what we have.

                              Sticker price is $52.00
We don't have them up on our website yet, won't until next week, but I think they will be $5.35 to ship.

I say sticker price because we give a 10% discount to Calguners, coupon code Calguns10 (OK not the most original) and through the end of June we give members of A Girl & A Gun Shooting League a 15% discount with their membership number.

If you want our store / website / e-mail / phone number PM me.
