Oldest Female Veteran dies

She was 108.
She tried 3 times to get into the service and had to gain weight to make it the third try.
She was 37 when she was accepted.

Lucy Coffle, the second oldest veteran in the country, died in her sleep in San Antonio on Thursday. Coffle enlisted at the age of 37 in the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps in 1943.
