Sad, and completely avoidable. A tragedy for her family and high propaganda for anti-groups. A loaded weapon is not what you want to be using when making adjustments or breaking in a holster. I can't even imagine how she ended up with the muzzle pointing toward her face.

    Very sad.

Unfortunately it doesn't give details on the kind of holster. After studying them I have had concern of something like and ND happening with the Flashbang which is why I don't carry them in my store. But it could as easily been another type.

Agree with Bobby, you have to make all the adjustments and practice with an unloaded weapon. If you can't get it comfortable empty it won't get any better loaded.

Feel very sorry for her family. Good to know that she knew the LORD.

Truth is it can happen to anyone of us.

sad, indeed. thank you for posting this. there are always lessons to be learned.
"The theory that a woman found dead in an alley, raped and strangled with her own pantyhose, is somehow morally superior to a woman explaining to police how her attacker got that fatal bullet wound."-- as seen on a t-shirt

Smells like something else besides a ND holster story.

depends on which news report you read. Some make a political issue, but I think the fair take away is that one needs to be careful. The lack of details, weapon type, holster type, etc. make it difficult to do more that say, it sucks and be careful.

But in the process of selling holsters, you see some gun handling, especially when reholstering or establishing the holster position that you have to address.

It's just a reminder to us all.

            OP thanks for posting.

Not everything is a ploy to attack gun rights. My brain is not set on a holster, gun, or safety problem - everything points to foul play in my book.

+1 to full agreement that safety is always priority #1
