Warning up front, this topic is difficult, painful really. For those who follow Tactissy you know her background is preparedness and self defense for women. Although there aren't really any details of the assault, she wanted to share this with her fans, and posted the linked video on her Facebook. Rob Pincus of ICE/Personal Defense Network shared the video as well.

It is her reminder of the dangers faced even by those we know. I think it's worth sharing, I leave it to the moderator to make the final call.

I am sure Krystie would appreciate some support. The video is not overly graphic, just emotionally intense, and should not be viewed by children. The topic however is way to important to ignore.

I watched it.
she is a brave woman putting this out on the internet.
she is doing the right thing.
she is a fighter and she is a survivor.
I doubt this will happen again to her.
this is rare.
most women are abused on average 7 times before they take action.
I helped found a shelter for battered women and I can tell you that most people are like she was: numbers/statitistics don't mean much and why would someone you know hurt you.
unfortunately, she learned the hard way.
the good news? she's sharing her story and I hope both men and women on calguns take heed.
