flea killer needed quickly East Bay

    Hi,
is anyone here an exterminator or know of a good reliable exterminator who can get rid of fleas from our house? Our tenants are complaining about fleas and they won't use the foggers we suggested so we want to get rid of this problem once and for all. The house is near El Cerrito. PM or post if you are able to come kill the buggers this week.
    Thanks.

Not an exterminator but when my house got attacked by fleas I used precor plus after other sprays didn't get rid of them. It contains a growth regulator and supposedly prevents flea growth for 7 months,

In the mean time, vacuuming helps a lot.

Thanks for the tip on precor. I'll look into that for long term flea killing. For now, I found an extermnator recommended by my old real estate agent who's going to spray on Thursday, if we can get someone to be home to let them in.

DAWN liquid dishwashing detergent. Works great on cats and dogs. You can actually see them jump off.

Then flea bomb the house and/or rooms.

Air out house before reintroducing pets.

          Don't use in the Kitchen.

They also make a powder you distribute on the carpeting then vacuum up.

Also a good one to use is the diatomaceous earth if there is a flea problem it'll end it in a month

Hmmm, I'm on tenants side 90% of the time but they have fleas because they have animals and have not taken responsibility for their care.

Reminds me of when my buddy was complaining about rats and making ethnically derogatory comments about the LL, MEANWHILE....

he had a large pet male rat and was all proud and bragging about how his rat musta got all the female rats knocked up and would kick the other male rat's arses because he was so big and healthy, etc. All I was thinking is why I didn't get his rant on video.

I'd do "change of terms" on pet policy.

If dogs or cats are allowed outside they will keep bringing in fresh fleas, and renters will continue complaining.

PS-Eucalyptus is supposed to be toxic to fleas and I've had (I think) good results putting fresh leaves inside dog house. Maybe makes their coat gum up a bit but didn't notice.
