I own a business doing all sorts of IT services - networking, information security, hosting, Web and application development, database administration, preparing for compliance audits (we don't do the audits themselves though), disaster recovery/business continuity, system integration, etc. Basically, we do anything from building your network and server side from the ground up to handling the projects your IT doesn't want to do itself, to troubleshooting those pesky issues that just wouldn't go away, to providing regular support, to pentesting your system, to making sure you're up and running if disaster strikes, or at least are able to recover. A typical client is a company with 10-500 users (quite broad, I know, but that's the way it is). We don't normally do desktop support, unless someone's onsite anyway, then, of course, we won't turn down a desktop issue. One of the things we specialize in is "non-standard" projects. Basically, if you have legacy applications or unusual requirements (IT-related, mind you), we love it!

We can help with procuring the required equipment, too. Basically, the idea is that we can do the whole project, and then do the knowledge transfer to you.

I always look for subcontractors, as well. If you're employed somewhere and just want to make some extra money on the side, or contract full-time, let's talk
