Summer is nigh, and I need to start doing some work! I am offering myself for hire for anything. I have reliable transportation and can be anywhere within reasonable driving distance of southern Orange County. I really mean it when I say ANYTHING.
To give you a brief rundown on my many skills:
Mercedes diesels - I'm restoring my 4th right now, and have fixed every problem you could possibly have on these cars. I can track down oddball parts, do basic maintenance, and a lot of major repairs that people give up on.
Computers - I'm a computer science major in college, and I worked as an IT person for 3 years before that. I can fix most anything, and I can do it anywhere from right at the desk to a continent away. I've done enterprise level administration, and helped little old grandmas get their printers setup.
Auto body - I'm meticulous with my own cars, and a whiz with damaged paint. I just finished removing some really gnarly key gouges from my friend's Durango, and restored failing clear coat on an older Jetta. I can wash, wax, clay bar, color sand, and nearly anything else you might want from a detailer. I've got proper equipment and use the best supplies. I work on 30 year old paint, and 3 year old paint.
Labor - I'm a big dude and can carry really heavy stuff. I can help you move giant things. I can dig ditches, moats, and if you really want me to I could probably dig a pool. I can do anything that requires heavy or akward lifting.
Programming - I'm comfortable with C, C++, C#, and related languages. I can do HTML, PHP, and CSS. I can write programs for your calculator, and firmware for your embedded systems projects. I have a good knowledge of data structures and proper object oriented programming. And I know how to realize when I should consult with reference material to make sure my code is the best it can be.
Electronics design / repair / assembly - I am experienced with all types of soldering from automotive harness building to surface mount ICs. I can solder flawlessly on things as small as 0.324millimeter pitch TSSOPs by hand, and have my own equipment. If you've got something broken I can probably fix it. If you need to design a controller for something, I can build it. I'm experienced with designing circuit boards in CAD (Eagle), and have experience in several types of PCB manufacture - photoresist and chemical etching, CNC milling, sending out to board houses. I can produce prototype electronics from specifications, and have experience running CNC mills. If you have an existing design you need modified or optimized, I can do that.
This list is not all-inclusive, so if you have something that you need handled I am your man. I am good at everything. If you find something I'm not good at, I can rectify that in short order.
