Have a second story bathroom with slow drains & "gurgling" noises.
Approx 50 years old construction, with cast iron pipes, septic system and had this problem a few years ago.
The downstairs bathroom is not having problems.

First dibs to a fellow Calgunner, then I just start calling around.

That zip it disposable drain clearer is one of those "why didn't I think of that!" items.

A giant bottle of Draino seems to have done the job, for now. That and blasting the roof vents w/ the hose to dislodge wasps and squirreled away acorns.

Hair is probably the culprit, both heads of household are well mane'd.
