Job Description: Cashier/Range Safety Officer
The Livermore-Pleasanton Rod & Gun Club is located in Livermore offering a full range of shooting activities. The club is located on 54 acres, and includes safe and modern rifle, pistol, archery and trap ranges.
This is a part time position.
Additional hours may be available seasonally (April – September). Schedule may be altered due to events and additional staffing requirements.
Purpose/Objective of Position: To provide friendly, efficient customer service, promote and enforce safe firearm handling, while also operating and maintaining a clean and organized office space.
Job Description
1. Operate cash register and reconcile daily cash sums & deposits.
2. Noting and accounting for discrepancies, reconciling at each shift change.
3. Maintain a professional, friendly atmosphere for customers and coworkers.
4. Answer all phone calls, check voicemails regularly and delegate them to proper person.
5. Assist as needed in range events and rentals.
6. Assist as an Range Safety Officer (RSO) as needed. We provide free NRA training for this.
Ideal Candidate
1. Customer Service Experience
2. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
3. Ability to work overtime as needed.
4. Punctual, Accountable, Self-Motivated
5. Familiarity with firearms.
