Last November I purchased a 9mm CZ 75 D Compact (PCR) from Virginia. The pistol originally came with 15 (or 17 round) mags but the seller switched them out to 10 round mags. The pistol arrived at my FFL and DROS went through without a problem.
Now, I'm considering purchasing a Springfield Armory (SA) Loaded in 9mm. The California gun roster designation/item number is PI1934L but on the SA web site it has the item number as PI1934LP (http://www.springfield-armory.com/pr...11-loaded-9mm/). It appears SA doesn't produce a modified gun strictly for the California market yet there is a separate item number assigned on the California gun roster.
My question is would an FFL process DROS (or would DROS process successfully) buying the pistol with a PI1934LP designation (i.e.: http://www.onlinegundeals.com/ItemDe...134LP-NE.htm)?
Thanks for the help.
