CA C&R Garand ?

So I bought a CMP Garand. It is sitting in my FFL's safe. Do I really need to wait 10 days to take possession of a 61 year old rifle?

Yes, only people who have both a 03FFL and a COE can pick up C&R (handguns and long guns) without waiting 10 days.

The 10 day wait is being appealed and the 9th Circuit stayed the ruling (forgive me if I butchered the legal jargon) that was supposed to kick in around late February.

Besides, the DOJ and the feds have both done biomedical research which proves it is galactically impossible to get "fired up" (the term that is in the report, I believe) again at the end of the 10 day "cooling down" period, thus why it is necessary and mandatory.
