Looking for FFL central coast CA

    Hi,
I'm looking for a knowledgeable and willing FFL to receive a semi auto Vickers right side plate from a DOJ registered FFL07 in OR. Central coast Monterey, San Jose, etc.

    Thanks!

    that might be hard

    do to the new FSC

reg it as a receiver is ez

doing the safe handling demo could only be done if the ffl has a whole firearm like the one you plan to build "in stock" or if you could bring one into the shop

Hit google to get a list of perspective FFLs and ask them what they'll require for the transfer including the safe handling demo for the odd-ball receiver. Because the DOJ has not put out official regulations per PC 26860(b) as to the exact operations the safe handling demo requires, but PC 26860(a) requires some sort of demonstration, each FFL will likely have different requirements. What muddies the water is that the DOJ has told some FFLs that using a similar firearm is sufficient for the demo, while the guide book says it needs to be the actual firearm, or one of the exact make and model, yet neither of these is what the actual law requires. The DOJ hasn't done what they need to do to satisfy what the actual law is asking for.

            Or get a hunting license.
