New Handgun in How Many Days?

I DROSed a revolver on 12/20 and picked up on 12/30.
My current HSC expires on 1/22/15.
Can I purchase another handgun on 1/20 or am I not eligible until 1/30?
Just want to see if I can get another before this HSC expires...

Your HSC has to be valid on pickup as well so that doesn't help you. You'll end up getting a new FSC on pickup day.

The DROS paperwork, which it is required to give you a copy of, has the last day which you can pick up the firearm, which is also the time + 1 second (in theory) that you can DROS another handgun. As said, you will need a valid HSC or FSC at time of pickup.
