    CA FFL CMP Garand Purchase?

I am sending my paper work into CMP tomorrow for purchase of a Garand.

My understanding that in 2013 the gun would be shipped to my home.

I am curious what laws in the new year may affect my purchase.

CMP ship the gun to my FFL is what I am expecting.

    Can someone elaborate for me?

    Thanks,

It would be shipped to an FFL.
Your location would help people decide which one to recommend.

Make sure that your FFL will accept a firearm from a non-FFL. The CMP is not a FFL and some FFLs seem to have a problem with that.

The biggest law that you may face is the FSC requirement. If you are not exempt you will be required to get the card before starting your DROS.
