Interstate handgun shipped from non license to ffl

I have a customer who Bought a handgun (on Roster) from a fellow californian. The non licensed (seller)sent the handgun to me (FFL 01), And my customer is wanting to dros to him. Not a private party The seller is down south and cannot be present. How do I do the transaction?? or can I? For both federal Book and the CA dros system. First one ive ever had. Im not a secondhand dealer. Any help would help.

I may not be following your post correctly but this is what I'm getting:

    You received a handgun from a non-licensee
The handgun is on the roster
Your customer wants to transfer as a PPT?

Remote PPT is not really doable just transfer it as a regular dealer sale.
Record it in your A/D book as being from the seller (good idea to get a copy of his DL)
Since you aren't buying the gun for your inventory, you don't need a secondhand dealers license

and since it is a shipped in transfer, it is not a PPT, but is a regular dealer transfer as halifax stated. because it isn't a PPT, you are not limited to the $35 PPT ($25DROS + $10 dealer) and could charge whatever dealer fee you wished.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?
