    Steyr AUG vs Steyr AUG-A3

The Steyr AUG is a banned by name rifle, would it be acceptable to DROS a Steyr AUG-A3? This looks from google pictures to be the same rifle. But only the AUG is banned on the list.

    The new AUG-A3 is "off-list".
The new production make & model does not match what is make/model banned.

    make/model banned...
    (make) Steyr-Manilcher AG (model) AUG/SA

    current production = "off-list"...
(make) Steyr Arms Inc (model) AUG/A3 SA USA
