    COE & FFL-03 exemption from 1-in-30

    Hi all,

Are any of you successfully transferring non-C&R handguns with a 1-in-30 exemption via COE and FFL-03?

I just heard that some FFLs are willing and able to process these despite the DOJ's public stance that the exemption only pertains to C&R guns. If that's true, I'd really like to locate an FFL who does this in the LA area so I can get the one extra pistol I want before the end of the year.

    Thanks.

I heard the warning on the DROS screen (not sure if that's the proper name) is gone now. Not sure if that means anything.

I wish it was true, though

I had assumed that DOJ would just kick it back like they did before. I have received no notification saying they had changed their stance on this.
