    Transferring a handgun frame

I'm looking at Hi Power frames on gunbroker which are only missing the grips to make it a complete receiver. The FN Hi Powers are on the roster so can I bring my own slide, barrel and slide stop to complete the firearm at my FFL and complete the transfer?

If the FFL is good with the mfg of the firearm on their paper (convert from frame to pistol), then yes.

Also, you'd need to confirm the exact hi-power being built matches the rostered item, not just the frame, but the complete pistol including original grips, etc.

Good advice. I just read about how the CA gun roster can be extremely peculiar when it comes to the details. A CA-spec gun would need to be a exactly as approved otherwise it's a no go. Thanks for the advise and I'm going to stay away from it.
