Shipping a completed 80% lower receiver

Ive been googleing trying to find out how i can ship a completed 80% lower receiver. I am currently active duty air force stationed overseas and my rifles are back home in California. I am trying to find out if i can legally ship my unserialized lower receivers through an ffl without a serial number on them to my next base which should be back in the states. I do not want to have to pay to fly to Cali and fly back to my next duty station just to pick up my guns. If anyone has any knowledge of this that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

If your shipping the gun to yourself why does it still have to go through a FFL?

        Also there is no such thing as a "completed 80%" it's a firearm or it's a 80%.
The above is not entirely correct:
Q: May a nonlicensee ship firearms interstate for his or her use in hunting or other lawful activity?
Yes. A person may ship a firearm to himself or herself in care of another person in the State where he or she intends to hunt or engage in any other lawful activity. The package should be addressed to the owner. Persons other than the owner should not open the package and take possession of the firearm.

I had a gun shipped to me some years ago from the Philippines. It had to be registered with the base Provost Marshall and properly documented. I'd check with your base legal office regarding the receiving of an "unsterilized" lower. I suspect they"d frown on it but I'm not sure.

I don't plan on living on base at my next duty station so hopefully I won't have to go through base legal. Thanks for the replies
