    New HSC/FSC Instructor Requirement...

Looks like HSC/FSC instructors will have to get a valid COE by June 30 2015 unless they renew earlier (or are new applicants).

Guess that whole new online bureaucracy is gonna be expensive...

At least the handgun only guys / gals get grandfathered into rifles without much trouble.

I'm going for a livescan for a ccw permit tomorrow and was told that they don't share with the doj. So, I will have to do another livescan for my coe.

          Sux doesn't it?

It's not that they don't "share"...any agency could look up the livescan number once your prints are submitted if the State would let them. From what I understand it stays in the system about 6 months.

          It's ALL about the $$

As I understand it, the livescan information 'belongs to' the entity/agency requesting it on the application. Basically restricted to each specific application.

OP, do you have a link to a reference? I looked at the AG's website under HSC and didn't see anything. Was I in the right place? Thanks and regards.
