10 years ago, getting your check cashed or card charged meant ATF had opened your envelope and begun the process. You'd mail the application, four days later they would cash your check, then two months later you'd get your license in the mail. I'm not sure if the timeline is still the same.

          A month was the norm.

For me, it took about 2 months after they cashed the check.

If you haven't done it yet, go get your COE while you wait for your 03-FFL to arrive.

Seriously though, mine was 6 or 7 weeks from the time I mailed in the application. Like Quiet said, take advantage of the wait and get your COE. You'll need it to get that PU delivered to your door.

My 03 was just at five weeks after I sent it in. This was mid-2013.

Charged 9/5 and they mailed it out on 9/16.

                    That's this year.

                      Wow fast!

I called and the guy said something about processing but I couldn't understand him. Guess everything is OK.
