I gave a gun away for a fundraiser. Winner is in Texas. I'm drawing a blank as to any paperwork that may be needed other than noting in my book who the winner was and his FFL's info. Thoughts or advice? Thanks in advance.

Gave away a gun--how to record?

Exactly... the "winner is irrelevant (to you). Your only concern is the FFL receiver (in Texas) which you record in your A&D book...once you obtain a copy of that FFL and then ship to that FFL.American soldier by choice. Made in America by the Grace of God.
So, now it is ironic that the State whittles away at the right of its citizens to defend themselves from the possible oppression of their State.

You A&D would only show who the firearm was shipped to, not who won it unless that person is a FFL. Your other records would show who the firearm was won by, but your FFL records would not.Kemasa.
