    Sierra Gun Supply

    Hello's,

I was hoping some folks could tell me about Sierra Gun Supply? I recently 'won' an item at the Lincoln Rifle Club annual dinner and the SGS is the FFL handling the transfer.

I' was a little surprised by the manual process for tracking the winners and winning items. I looked them up on the internet, but don't see much.

What should be my expectations in working with this FFL and are they reputable?

If I am thinking of the right place, they are in Auburn and are good people. Their prices are high but provide good service. They have been there for a long time and a long time supporter of the LRC.

Regarding the transfer of item, call with them to see if they have it. If so find out if you have to make an appointment to get the gun registered or just come into their store.
You'll need to show proof that you're the winner; complete the appropriate state and federal registration process, pay the appropriate fees and wait 10 days to pick up your item assuming you clear the state background check.
Beyond that, can't help you with your other concerns.
