Here is a question for an experienced FFL .
When two people who can have handguns in Ca (they are not felons, both have HSS cards, Ca ID's, over 21 ETC), show up to do a PPT on handgun, IS THE HISTORY OF THE HANDGUN EVER IN QUESTION?
Is there a process in place THAT IS A PART OF A PPT that will check the following :
1).How this handgun ended up here in Californina?
2).Is the seller the actual owner of the gun?
3). If the gun was made overseas , how did it ever end up here?
Just wondering.
In some places in US and most of Europe , handguns are RIGISTERED to the owner.
