C&R FFL - How long to arrive?

    Hi all,
I've been a lurker here for a while and finally decided to register, so here's my first post!

Using the MANY excellent guidelines found here, i finally decided to apply for a C&R FFL. I sent in my application in early July, and the ATF charged my credit card on July 14th. On Aug 9th, I received the "Welcome Pack" from the ATF. But as yet, I have not received the actual FFL. Since my mail occasionally gets stolen, should I worry, or is it normal for such a delay between?

    Thanks!

Not sure about an 03 FFL. I don't know what the process is for that. Do they require an inspection like other licenses?

No, no inspection since it's for private collecting, not engaging in a business.

Usually 30-60 days. If you don't see it by Sept. 1st, I'd call BATFE to see if/when they mailed it.

The envelope that it comes in can easily be mistaken for junk mail. Watch your mail carefully.

Oh, I've been watching my mail carefully!

As far as calling ATF, should it be the local office of Atlanta?

Got a call from the ATF today. Talked to a very nice lady named Jessica. Apparently they mailed my FFL to me on the 27th of July, but it was returned by the Post Office as undeliverable. She confirmed my mailing address and said it would be sent out today, and to call her if I don't receive it in 7-10 days.

Very nice dealing with the ATF as opposed to my problems with the DOJ I mentioned in another thread.
