I have a SSE pistol, a complete rifle and 7 ak type receivers coming in and was wondering if they can be dros'd on same day?

As long as the FFL will do it I don't see why not. One hand gun every 30days (not including PPT), and as many long guns as you like. But with long guns you can't add more after you DROS. In the past you could just add them to them 4473. -
Sigh ... You could never add more after the DROS was submitted. While some FFLs did it, it was difficult to detect, so they could get away it. The 4473 allows for more firearms to be added, but that is Federal.Kemasa.

The receivers would be transferred as a long gun in CA. Unless you are exempt, you can only do one handgun DROS per 30 days unless the transfer is exempt (PPT, for example). You can transfer any number of long guns at one time, from any source, and there will only be one $25 DROS fee, as long as the FFL knows how to properly submit it (click on the submit another DROS for this purchaser).Kemasa.

You can only DROS 1,234,568 long guns at one time. If you try to do more, DOJ will show up and check to make sure that the old SKS is CA compliant.NRA Certified Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun and Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor

Kemasa, no need to sigh. Under the old DROS make/model/serial # were not submitted for long gun purchases, and there were no limit to the quantity of long guns one could purchase. You make it sound like people were circumventing the law. They were not.Comment

You are wrong. People only looked at one aspect to the CA PC and ignored other sections. Yes, they were actually violating the law since the sale of the firearm occurred later, which had it's own requirement for a waiting period and also required to be reported. Also, what the law actually said was ignored, as well as trying to claim that the "sale" can be any time period that they wanted it to be.
Because the firearm information was not submitted, it did make it easy to do this and not get caught, but that did not make it legal.Kemasa.
