I was going to do an intra-familial transfer for a 1911 I received when my father passed away. I was just wondering if this would be affected if I currently am in the 30 day wait after a Dros done at the dealer for a new pistol. Thank you.

Intra-familial transfer

The one in 30 rule only affects purchases from dealers, not private party transfers, nor oplaw transfers. Also, an intrafamilial transfer implies both parties are alive, you are looking to do paperwork for an inheritance. It may be the same form, but you might be answering the questions differently. http://wiki.calgunsfoundation.org/in...and_InterstateLast edited by SkyHawk; 08-07-2014, 11:55 AM. -
