I've got the affidavits for gun safes, lock boxes ect, but if the buyer has neither of these and only purchases the safety lock, do we have a form for this or just use the affidavit forms?

You need to keep a copy of the receipt for the CA certified lock.Kemasa.

Yes, the DROS submission has the ability to mark it as OEM. It is still good to make a note of what lock it is. You can sell them a lock and write it on your receipt.
The Feds require a lock for handguns, but there is no requirement on documenting it, nor a requirement for a receipt.Kemasa.
