Ok here is the situation,I have a lawyer friend and am taking in some guns as part of a deal he and his client made with the DA. The original owner is no longer allowed to own guns but the DA agreed to have the guns released to a licensed dealer so the firearms could be sold to pay the gentelmans attorney fees. I have the order signed by the judge that says they will release them to me but my question is how do I log them in my A&D books? As coming from the SO or ......Factory certified armorer for

You log them as coming from the Sheriff's office or police or whoever it is that you received them from.Kemasa.

The only time I did that I logged them as coming from the Sheriff's Evidence Room. I was able to transfer them to the original owner's daughter. I always wondered if I should have done FDAS though.Jim
