From out of state C&R Shipping Question

Yes, I know this has been asked a thousand times, but I want the 'experts' out there to let me know if this is still okay. (no law changes affecting it)

I hold a current C&R license as well as a current COE.
Just bought a Colt SAA NRA Centennial (.45) on Gunbroker. (Stop laughing)

Since this gun is specifically listed on page 21 of the ATF's C&R list (and no updates on their site list a change in status) is it lawful for an out-of-state seller to ship it directly to me?

If so, I'm assuming I have a short period to file a registration form and pay the $19.00 to DOJ.

This is my first purchase from out of state and I just want to be sure of things. I'd also like to avoid the FFL01 fees.

Please advise quickly (no guessing!) as I only have days to discuss it with the seller or find a local FFL01 who'll accept the shipment. (Glendale area)

    Thanks,

All pistols must go through an FFL01 under the parameters given.

Wondered about that. Okay, no problem. Now to find a local FFL01 who doesn't charge an arm and a leg....

There's another option, but it will probably cost as much or more unless you have a trip planned. You can have it shipped to an FFL in Nevada, then pick it up there with your C&R, then register when you get home.
Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.
