Common mistake is refer to "DROS" when one means 4473. DROS is the State of CA method to register firearms to an individual. The 4473 is the federal form that logs firearms transactions. A person may DROS only one firearm per DROS form but may do multiple DROS's if purchasing multiple firearms. Also remember the 1 handgun every 30 days limitation CA imposes.

A person also may put an unlimited number of firearms on one 4473. A continuation sheet is necessary if you use all the spaces on the 4473.

To the original question, yes it is possible to transfer two rifles from two different sellers to one buyer via Private Party Transaction. The current DROS Entry System allows unlimited transactions for one buyer for one DROS fee.

      Hope that makes sense.

Since the beginning of the year, with long gun registration, every firearm has to go on a separate DROS.

But if you're asking whether it is possible to PPT two rifles from two different sellers at the same time and pay a single DROS fee, then the answer is absolutely. Since the beginning of the year, with DES, you need only pay one single $25 fee to DROS multiple firearms (each on a separate DROS) when done a the same time.

As said, your question is a bit wrong. Every firearm needs its own DROS now.

But, as also said, there is only one DROS fee for any number of firearms transferred at the same time, regardless of the type of transfer. The DROS manual covers this.

Once the first DROS is submitted, there is a link at the top of the page to submit another DROS for the same purchaser. The FFL should click that, which then brings up ALL the options for another DROS, which the FFL clicks on the correct one and the buyer's information is automatically added and the rest of the information needs to be added, then submitted.

Not everything is listed in a CA PC.
