Question(s) on consignment sale?

This is out of my experience, buying a consignment firearm, I have purchased all of mine from private partys and had an FFL do the transfer. Today I went to do the transfer and this is what I was confronted with. Price of the gun was agreed to. I was told to make the Check out to the shop, sales tax was added to the price.plus normal dros fees and the dealers $10. Is this the process no face to face with the actual seller, check to the shop, in their name,sales tax added plus the $35 dros and dealer fee? Is the shop required to divulge the name of the actual owner of the firearm?

This is not a PPT, it's a consignment sale. You deal with the shop, not the owner.

Would you want them to disclose your name if you were selling your guns through their shop?
