PPT LA City rifle lower 30 day per limit?

Hi, Sorry if this is been asked before but I could not find the answer, In the city of LA I know you're only allowed to purchase one Handgun every 30 days whether or not it's private party transfer or bought from a store.

The question I have is: does that one per 30 days (City of LA ) also applied to rifles or in my case an AR lower?
