I can tell you how I do it in Riverside County maybe it will help. First you have to be truly unincorporated. If you are you will just need a letter from your Sheriff office stating that they are aware of your buisness and have no problem with it. I can grab a copy of mine in the AM if you think it might help give you a idea.

Does you local business lucent include the phrase "for the retail sale of firearms"?

      Those are the magic words.

Reread the OP. Not sure what your asking if you already have a buisness license. I use the letter because there is no buisness license. FFL, COE, letter from sheriff. That's the out in the boonies way. It's actually kind of nice. No annoying city to deal with, and with one phone call a year I get a sheriff letter at no charge.

Condorguns is correct. If you already have a business license, then not sure what else you'd need. I'd send a copy of it in with the App for Centralized List and you should be fine. No business license in currently required in my city in Orange County, so a simple letter from the OC Sheriff did the trick for me. I was able to find out about the business license requirement for my city by calling my local planning department, so for San Luis Obispo county (or whatever city your business is in), you can try that if you want, but again you shouldn't have to if you already have a biz license in hand.
